Why should I volunteer?

What if your house was on fire in the middle of the night, but only 2 people showed 

up to put it out?   It takes a special person to be a volunteer firefighter or EMT.  Our community relies on its

volunteers to show up.  Yes, other department help us out when we need it, but we depend on our friends

and neighbors to volunteer.  Firefighters are a brotherhood.  We rely on our fellow team mates to be able to make the 

right decisions, and quite possibly, save our own life in a bad situation.
